NEWS EXCERPT:-
The Indians and the Indian media Monday lambasted umpires Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson for their incompetence and erroneous umpiring that cost India the second Test match against Australia in Sydney Sunday. The three-match ban on spinner Harbhajan Singh and the un-sportsmanlike behaviour of the Australian cricketers were also criticized sharply.

Standing Tall & High ~~~ Aiming to reach the moon!Tuesday, December 4, 2007
I clicked this picture at the outskirts of the beautiful and pristine state of Himachal on the way to Paonta Sahib. Our car had developed a snag, and we had to take a forced halt for sometime. While the driver and the gentleman accompanying me put their head in the car's mean machinery to get a clue of what wrong had gone there, I took a stroll along the river side enjoying the nature and the scenic beauty.
The visuals were so appealing that they drew me a little more off the road towards them. (In fact, this part of the Northern India comprising of beautiful and popular state districts like Shimla, Sirmaur, etc. have always enthralled the residents, tourists and the adventurous alike since time and again.) Walking on the small walkway which leads to the river-side, an out-of-the-world panoramic visual clean-bold my senses... There was the river on one side, and the lush hill on the other side. And up there on this hill, was this tree... standing tall and high, aiming to reach the moon, as if imparting the message of keeping the head high and having a bold self confidence even when one is standing alone. (Did u observe the moon there which the tree is staring at??? Have a close look again) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- pankaj sood Catch me on :-http://360.yahoo.com/atruearian http://sood13545.blogspot.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Treat people the way you yourself want 2 b treated" Technorati
